First mentioned in XIV Century. Kobyla Góra is more like a town than the village. In the past, besides the agriculture, small industries were well developed - milling, crafts, ceramic and metal working. Presently it is becoming a tourist service center for the area.
Arms and flag adopted on March 28, 2003 (resolution # IV/29/2003).
"Arms: on the red shield a stylized milling wheel on the background
of the wall of the mill (brown) and cascading water in the colors of blue
and white.
Flag. horizontal stripes of brown-white-light blue-white-red."
(width of the stripes not indicated)
