In 2007 there was a major archeological discovery on the World scale,
the finding in the crypts of the Kwidzyn (Marienwerder) Cathedral of the
remains of several Masters of the Teutonic Order (Der Deutsche Orden -
Orden der Brüder vom Deutschen Haus St.Mariens in Jerusalem - Ordo fratrum
donus Sanctae Mariae Theotonicorum Ierosolimitanorum - Ordo Teutonicus
- Krzyżacy).
So far only the remains of one of them - Werner von Orseln - were identified.
The work is in progress.
