Arms and flag adopted on February 28, 2003 (resolution # V/21/2003).
"Arms: on an old French style shield (common in Poland and Silesia
between XIII and XVI centuries) in the right field (blue) there is a golden
honeycomb with a bee.
In the left field (gold) there is a branch of hop symbolizing the beer
brewing in the area.
Supporters are two stylized black eagles of the Silesian Piasts.
Flag: a rectangle composed of four equal vertical bands: light blue,
yellow, green, yellow - with the shield of the Arms in the center."
