Chrystian Kretowicz sent me two .bmp files with images of the flags of the commune Korfantów in Nysa county, Opolskie vojvodship.
The laws governing the communal insignia are: (translated by Chris):
Zalacznik do Uchwaly Nr XII/92/2003 dated 25 September 2003.
"2a - The flag of the Commune is: a piece of cloth divided horizontally into three colored stripes in ratio-width to length 5:8; first stripe is of white color in 6/8 width of entire flag; second stripe is of red color in 1/8 width of entire flag; third stripe is (at the bottom) of light-blue color in 1/8 width of entire flag"

the <b> part of the paragraph adds only that the shield of the Coat of Arms is placed on the first stripe without elaborating how is it done.

Here are the new flags:
- civic Korfantów flag: horizontal stripes white - red - blue, proportioned 6:1:1
Note: The first Korfantów city flag looked uncannily like the flag of Rypin commune (Rypin county, Kujawsko-pomorskie vojvodship), which may have been a reason to replace it with a new one.

Here is the flag of Korfantów city and commune (Nysa County). Old names: Ferlondt, Friedland, Fyrląd, Fryląd. Old German name: Friedland in Oberschlesien.
