The village was established in the XIII Century. Known for fish farming
(mostly carp) in ponds.
Arms and flag adopted in 2003 (no exact date available).
"Arms: on a red shield there are two silver swords crossed, with golden
handles and between them a silver goshawk with golden beak and talons.
Flag: a rectangle composed of three unequal vertical bands in the proportions
1/4:1/2:1/4 of the width of the flag and in the colors (from the hoist):
red-white-red.
On the wider middle band (white) the Arms are placed."
