Arms and flag adopted on August 10, 1997 (no resolution # available).
"Arms: on the red shield three golden wheat stalks and above them a
military cross and the cross of the Eastern Rite Catholic Church.
The wheat stalks symbolize the agricultural character of the commune.
The military cross recalls battles of the January Uprising of 1863
which took place on the commune's territory.
The cross of the Eastern Rite Catholic Church recalls severe persecution
of the believers by the Russian occupiers during the partitions and also
the coexistence and friendly relations between the area's Roman Catholics
and the Eastern Rite Catholics.
Flag: a rectangle composed of three equal vertical bands: red-yellow-red."
