Tomaszów Lubelski - this is Qiryat Haim's twin city in Poland and therefore
flags were hoisted to comemorate our arrival to visit this small town.
The municipal flag is not the one at <pl-lu-tl.html> which is the county
flag. The municipal flag is vertical, white, charged with municipal Coat of Arms
(showing St. Thomas) at upper part. It was hoisted side by side with vertical
Polish flag. At the meeting hall (local high school) they hoisted the Polish
and Israeli flags.
Dov Gutterman, 22 Mar 2002
To confirm Dov's findings during his trip to Poland here is some additional
information:
TOMASZOW LUBELSKI Town - TOMASZOW LUBELSKI County - LUBLIN (Lubelskie)
Voivodship.
"The flag of the Town is a rectangular piece of cloth of white color
with the Arms placed in its center, in compliance with the Decision # XXXVI/312/2001
of the Town Council of Tomaszow Lubelski, adopted on August 6, 2001"

Lubelski city statutes.
