Trzydnik Duży - rural commune, Kraśnik County, Lubelskie Voivodship.
The Arms and the flag were adopted sometime in 2005.
Based on a legend, the Arms show on a red field a stylized silver knightly shield under a royal crown and between the branches of an oak tree.
The Arms and the flag were designed by Mr.Dudzinski.
The legend on which the Arms are based says about a three-day stay of King John III Sobieski ( the one who chased the Turks from Vienna) at the village (hence
the name of it: Trzydnik = three-day) where he was, supposedly, fond of resting under a huge oak tree while watching his troops hauling the Turkish loot back home.
The knightly shield in the Arms was taken from Sobieski's personal Coat of Arms, as was his own royal crown too.
