Skierniewice county flag

Skierniewice County (Polish: powiat skierniewicki ) is a powiat (county) in Poland, in Lódz Voivodeship (Polish: Lódzkie) . The county seat is the town of Skierniewice and the powiat contains the area around it, but not the city itself which forms its own separate urban powiat.

On 8 August 2002 the proposals of Coat of Arms and flag agreed by the Council and the Commission for refereeing slip and they were addressed to the Heraldic Commission for assessment sent. The flag was given a negative opinion, the coat of arms was accepted. On 23 June 2004 the county Coat of Arms and the county seal officially adopted by county law Nr.XVI/72/2004 .
