In Chachapoyas, the capital of Amazonas, I saw the city flag.
Juan Carlos Herrera, 16 Aug 2004
Horizontal triband of light blue, green and red with yellow starry
octagon on the upper fly, centered vertically on the bluw stripe and
two green rectangle triangles wedged at the hoist and fly end of the
blue stripe, expanding the green stripe to both upper corder of the
flag. Apparent ratio is 1:2. The upper fly element (a Sun?) is such
that every second angle is 90°, made of two superimposed squares,
each rotated 45°.
