The 2014 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXII Olympic Winter Games,
are being held in Sochi, Russia, from February 06 to 23. Over 2,500 athletes
representing 88 nations are competing for medals in 98 events in 15 winter
sports. Sochi was chosen in 2007 as the host city for the 2014 Winter Olympics
and Winter Paralympics. This is the first time that the Russian Federation hosts
the Winter Olympics.

Its flag is white, with its very simple logo. The logo for the winter games
features the web address "sochi2014.ru", with the "Sochi" placed on top of the
"2014″, typographically mirroring each other, which is meant to reflect that
Sochi is the meeting point between the sea and the mountains. The Olympic rings
sit in their original colours beside the web address. The letters are blue.
Russian Internet domain extension underlines the innovative character of the
games and its relevance for the whole country. This logo was introduced on
November 30, 2009 as an Olympic logo for Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

I found an interesting and unique flag. During the Olympic torch relay, a
specially-designed flag was flown by escorts of the Olympic flame. It is white
with red-orange decorations in top left and lower fly corners. The domain name
emblem is placed in the middle of the flag under a torch-like design. The
Russian text of "Эстафета Олимпийского огня" (Olympic Torch Relay) is written
under the emblem.
