Wairoa District is a Territorial authority district in the North Island of New
Zealand, within the Hawke's Bay Region. The Wairoa District Council has its
headquarters in the largest town, Wairoa.

Hawkes Bay combined recently with another region,
Manawatu, into the
Central Vikings [rugby] province,
although there are rumours that they will split into
different teams again soon.
Hawkes Bay rugby uniform colours are
black and white.
