At normal ATC unit meetings/parades, the flag of the Royal New Zealand Air Force is used.

On certain occasions, the ATC ceremonial flag may be used. This flag is normally in the custody of the Commandant of the New Zealand Cadet Forces, and can only be used with his permission.
This flag has the New Zealand ATC crest replacing the
roundel in the RNZAF flag. The central emblem in the crest is a depiction of a
sparrowhawk clutching a spear. The lettering surrounding the central emblem
reads: AIR TRAINING CORPS, NEW ZEALAND CADET FORCES. The motto on the scroll
reads: WE TRAIN TO SERVE.
