The blazon is: I rødt tre nedvendte gull pilspisser. In English: Gules three
downwards-pointing arrowheads or.
It was approved by the royal resolution of 11 April 1986, drawn by Jarle Skuseth
after an idea by Kristoffer Gjøten.
The arrowheads are of the type found in stone-age findings in the municipality.
