Arms: per pale: 1. vert a wavy fess argent; 2. argent a bend gules.
This was designed in 1857 by W. van Dam van Brakel. The (heraldic)
right part shows the geographical position: the Hollandsche IJssel flowing
through green meadows. The left part has the arms of the Linschoten
estate with reversed colors.
