Berg en Terblijt is a former municipality in Limburg province, since
1 Jan 1982 part of Valkenburg aan de Geul. When it was dissolved there
were 2700 inhabitants, living in Berg (seat), Geulhem, Terblijt and Vilt.
Flag: Red with a white hoist chevron; at the hoist a black key with
the bit turned towards the fly. adopted 16 Feb 1971 by municipal resolution.
The key is from the municipal arms, and was derived from the arms of
the Sint Servaas-chapter in Maastricht, to which Berg once belonged.
