The Lemmer flag was adopted by the village of Lemmer in 2015. It is described as:
Five horizontal stripes of white, red, yellow, red and white, the widths of which are 1:1:2:1:1. The colors come from the municipal coat of arms of Lemsterland.

The village flag was: a green swallow-tailed flag with a red cross.
(according to Sierksma's Nederlands Vlaggenboek, 1962 [sie62]
Sierksma has no image; it appears from the coat of arms that it is a centered
cross, not taking in account the swallow-tail...

The coat of arms of Lemmer was azure, with a white cloud, from which an arm emerges
with a black sleeve, holding a swallow-tailed flag: black with a white
Scandinavian-type cross.
