The coat of arms of Eldorado was created through a contest, won by Juvencio Leyva, a teacher and painter. It was adopted during its time as a syndicate, known to have existed as early as 2014. However, it was adopted as the municipal coat of arms in 2021. The shield is bordered in red outlined in black, taking the form of an arrowhead. At the top is the name ELDORADO. The inner section is yellow. In its outer areas, it depicts symbols of the economy, such as: cattle and milk for the cattle-raising industry; a mango, raspberries, and avocado (?) for fruticulture; corn plant, and unknown item for agriculture; salmon and shrimp for fishing, as a reminder the municipality has a coast. Surrounding the innermost scene are two stalks of sugarcane, remembering the origins of the local economy. The innermost scene depicts a sugarcane mill surrounded by fields, a reminder that the municipality was founded because of a sugarcane mill. The footprints remember the pilgrimages that the Indians took through Sinaloa. At the bottom is the San Lorenzo River, with a hand holding a machete to symbolize the efforts of the people. At the top, a sun bearing a ribbon reading its name remembers the origin of its name, "Golden" because of its sunsets, with its rays going above. The year 1900, found here, is when the community was founded.
