The council did not give information regarding the municipal coat of arms. The coat of arms of Juárez has the same form as the coat of arms of the State, having a helmet above and a ribbon in the National Colors under it reading its name: "JUAREZ, N.L." The sides of the border depict weapons of the Indians (left) as a bow and arrows; on the right, weapons of the Spaniards as axes and guns. At the bottom of the border is a famous phrase by former president Benito Juárez: "EL RESPETO AL DERECHO AJENO ES LA PAZ" [Respect to the Others' Right is Peace]. The inner area is divided into four sections, having an inescutcheon in the center. The upper-left section depicts a red crowned rampant lion, symbol of Nuevo León; the upper-right section depicts the Nuestra Señora del Rosario church and a sugarcane grinder, symbol of the first industry of the Municipality, in front of the Cerro de la Silla. The lower-left section depicts a ploughed field, with three corn plants and a cob of corn over it for agriculture; under this is a cow for cattle-raising and cogwheel for industry. The lower-right section depicts the facade of the Municipal Building and the symbol of the San José Hacienda, first settlement of the area, and the year it became a Villa (1868). The inescutcheon depicts the effigy of Benito Juárez, who the municipality is named after.
