This flag was adopted on 31 March 1972, according to Smith (1975). It is used only on land, both by civilians and by government. There is, of course, no military version of the flag. Proportions given are 20:39.

The flag originally adopted in 1972 and officially adopted in 1976, was blue
with a large star in the center, superimposed on the silhouette of a column of
gray stone (a local variety of limestone).
