The flag is blue, with a outlined yellow rooster. The name is written in yellow below the rooster in Burmese script.

Since the change from "division" to region, as a result of the 2008 Constitution, the flag of Bago was changed slightly. The golden hamsa on blue is still present, yet the text below the hamsa was altered to reflect the new status.
