The Party for Roma Integration (Partija za Integracija na Romite - PIR) was founded in 2006 and at the moment has 2,139 active members. The party is registered in North Macedonia in the capital city Skopje.The basic idea of this political party is the full integration of the Roma people in the Macedonian society and abroad. PIR was founded by Roma intellectuals, doctors, professors, architects, producers, common workers and students. In this political party there are Roma, Egyptians, Macedonians, Albanians, Serbs and Bulgarians.
