The Betsimisiraka/Tamatave Kingdom was on the east coast of Madagascar.
This website reports 4 flags:
Jul 1750 - 18 Aug1819? Square, quartered of red and green with a white cross charged with a semé of yellow fleurs-de-lis (a French flag?). 18 Aug 1819 - 1822 white with in the center a yellow cockerel standing on three yellow spears or arrows.
1822 - 1826 same, with in the canton a British Union Jack.
1826 - 1828 same with below the Union Jack a red humpbacked cow.

Ratsimilaho was the son of Thomas White, a British pirate, who died in Madagascar early in 1708, reportedly of "excessive drinking and other irregularities".
In the 18th century Betsimisaraka was tributary to Boina, but our friend Count Benyovski persuaded them to stop payment.
