According to Album 2000 [pay00]
- Customs (1:2) - National flag with white canton conatining two
blue crossed caducees. The winged staf with serpents encircling
it is symbolic for Roman god Merucy, as protector of merchants.
Similary as the previous flags, the canton is 1/3 of the length,
and images as very much the same in [neu92]
and [pay00]. The caption in [neu92] is "Zollflagge" -
Customs Ensign, so here also ---/-S- might be appropriate. (And
if it is maybe not so today, it might well being truth for
pre-WWII situation)
