To quote the Lithuanian Heraldry Commission on Facebook, "The coat of arms reflects the localization of Vidiškiai by the Šventoji river and the important St. Petersburg-Warsaw postal route (tract) that operated in the 19th century." The coat of arms was designed by Juozas Galkus and approved by the president on December 11, 2023.
