Salantai - On a silver field upon green a three-hill a red
rooster. Flag proportions 5:6, fringe is silver, finial is a
golden tip, staff is white. The charge symbolizes both Gaidziu
Kalnas ("Roosters Hill"), on which the town was
established, and victory of light against darkness.
