Vientiane has not yet adopted an official flag/emblem. However there are some symbols that were used by the people's government in the past.
In 2010, the municipal government created an emblem to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the city. The emblem eventually became unofficial for the city.
I have attached two images featuring the emblem on a document and during the people's committee session.
The city also has an unofficial flag used during sport events. It features the Pha That Luang temple with text below that says 'Vientiane Capital' in Lao.
