Overview

While driving around Seoul, we ended up passing by the National Research Foundation's headquarters in Seocho District (Seocho-gu). There I noticed the NRF flag flying alongside the South Korean national flag. According to the NRF website, the Foundation is "entrusted with an important historic mission to enhance the capacity of academic research and science and technology as the determinants of national competitiveness and the quality of life, and to foster the valuable future assets of human resources."
