White background: Symbolizing citizen's purity, frankness and soul of the nation

Blue mountain: Symbolizing the development and spirit of the city that makes rapid progress on the basis of blue energy and nature of citizens with Bongui mountain in its center.

Green and blue circles: As a symbol of nature and water, it stands for the city of lake with Soyang-river stream that is surrounding Chuncheon having Bongui mountain as its center, and infinite tolerance of the nature in which Chuncheon develops into the city of sightseeing and culture.
