The county flag of Trans Nzoia has a golden yellow fly
which occupies more than three quarters of the flag. In the centre of the
fly is a brown cogwheel containing the shield from the county coat of arms in
its centre, with the name of the county in large capital letters in brown above.
At the hoist is a dark green vertical stripe. Starting at the top
left hand corner is a dark brown diagonal stripe, fimbriated in white, which
bends to become a vertical stripe approximately one-eighth from the bottom edge
of the flag.
