Naivasha is a market town in Nakuru County, Kenya, lying north west of Nairobi. It is located on the shore of Lake Naivasha and the municipality has about 180,000 inhabitants. Naivasha is a popular tourist destination; a resort in Naivasha was the location for much of the negotiations of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement ending the Second Sudanese Civil War, commonly known as the "Naivasha Agreement".
From 2011, the municipality has had a white square flag with the emblem of the
municipal council in the centre within a square blue border.
