Mombasa is the second-largest city in Kenya with a population of over one million people. A regional cultural and economic hub, Mombasa has a prominent port and international airport and is an important regional tourism centre. It is situated on the east coast of Kenya and bordering the Indian Ocean has made it an historical trading centre.
The municipal flag is divided vertically yellow and blue with
the municipal arms in the centre.

I was wondering if you could get the Mombasa flag on the FOTW page.
I am especially interested in the one used at the turn of 19/20th centuries
under the British rule. If there was no flag then, the coat of arms would
also be useful.

I think that the only British flag used in Mombasa in the late 1800s
/ early 1900s would have been the Union Jack.
The local flag was probably the Red Flag of the
Sultan of Zanzibar, as Mombasa was within his mainland territories.
