Mandera County is located in the extreme north east of
Kenya on the border with Ethiopia and
Somalia. The capital and largest town is Mandera.

The county flag comprises five horizontal stripes of green, fimbriated white,
yellow, fimbriated white and brown. In the centre is the placed the county
coat of arms.
