Kericho County is located in the west of Kenya in the Kenya Highlands.
Its principal crop is the world famous Kenyan tea and the county is home to the
popular Ketepa brand.

The county flag has a green background, dissected in
the centre with a yellow/gold horizontal stripe fimbriated in white. In
the centre is a shield with a yellow background containing a tea-leaf in green
superimposed on two assegai spears in saltire. Below is a scroll with the
words COUNTY GOVERNMENT KERICHO in black.
