Located in Bunkyo City Tokyo and established in 1928.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has navy blue background with a gold emblem in gold fringe. The previous flag was red in color.
The university flag has navy blue background with a white emblem.
The university emblem kanji character "大學" in the mirror of Yata that was used in the cap design of the private philosophy school, the predecessor of Toyo University.
