Located in Setagaya City Tokyo and established in 1925.
The university flag has dark green background with a white emblem.
When the school became independent as a private Tokyo Agricultural College in
1893, it adopted as its school emblem the Chinese letters 農大 (University of Agriculture) in the center of a circle with ears of rice facing each other. Later, when the school became the private Tokyo University of Agriculture in 1911, the university emblem of "University of Agriculture" was placed on the square cap of the main department of the University Faculty, and has been used ever since.
