Located in Kanan Town Osaka Prefecture and established in 1957.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has purple background with a gold and silver emblem and horizontally written in gold kanji university name in gold fringe. It was conceived by the head of the Nishiwaki Department of Design at the time of the establishment of the university. The university flag has purple background with a yellow and white emblem andhorizontal writing yellow Chinese characters university name. (Source)
The university emblem is a black circle with a gold "芸大" lettering.
