Located in Soja City Okayama Prefecture and established in 1993.
The university flag has white background with a purple symbol mark in the center and the university name in black kanji and English written horizontally.
The symbol mark is composed of two spirals in the shape of an "O" to express a sense of unity between the local community and the university, an image of an open university, and a base for transmitting information. The shape of the symbol, which recalls a comma-shaped bead, also conveys the image of a university located in the historic Kibi area. Purple, the university's symbolic color since its opening, was used.
