Located in Naruto City Tokushima Prefecture and established in 1981.
The university flag has white background with a blue and green emblem in the center and horizontally written black university name in Chinese characters.
The emblem of Naruto University of Education was adopted in February 1986. The upper part of the emblem represents the "N" of Naruto, and the lower part the "U" of University. The upper part represents the islands of Naruto and the lower part represents the dynamic sea, and each of the three parts of the emblem represents the staff, undergraduate students, and graduate students, who are united as one.
The colors used in the emblem are "green" for the upper "N" and "blue" for the lower "U" as the standard colors of the emblem, which can be changed according to the application, and is used for various printed materials on campus. The colors used in the emblem are inspired by the natural environment, etc., and are named "Nature Green" for green and "Utopia Blue" for blue.
