Located in Chiyoda City Tokyo and established in 1949.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has navy blue background with a gold, silver and orange university emblem and horizontally written gold kanji university name in gold fringe.
In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the school's founding (1986), the university flag and emblem were redesigned. The school color, dark red, and the sub-color, blue, were also adopted. The university emblem consists of the kanji word "大學" in the shape of a cherry blossom, surrounded by an octagonal mirror symbolizing the female soul.
