Located in Kurashiki City Okayama Prefecture and established in 1991.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has orange background with a gold emblem in gold fringe.
The university flag has orange background with a white emblem in the center.
The university emblem was adopted in April 1991, at the same time as the opening of the university. The emblem consists of a design of the Chinese character 川 the initial of the university name around the abbreviated university name in Chinese characters 医福大.
