Located in Kobe City Hyogo Prefecture and established in 1951.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark red background with a gold emblem and vertically written in gold kanji university name with gold fringe.
The university flag has dark red background with a white emblem and horizontally written kanji university name in white.
The university is located in the south of Mt. Rokko, and the university emblem consists of the Chinese characters "大學" on a stag beetle-shaped helmet, which is associated with the "Ko" of Rokko.
