Located in Itabashi City Tokyo and established in 1949.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark green background with a gold emblem, kanji characters 大學and gold kanji university name written horizontally in gold fringe.
The university flag has green background with a white emblem and kanji characters 東文in the center.
The university emblem is a paulownia design.
