White coat of arms on light blue (cerulean blue) field. Stylized Kanji character MI in a circle form and small disc inside. The disc represents Miakejima Island floating on Pacific Ocean and having plenty
of gifts from Black Current since the age of gods. The coat of arms were adopted Jun 27 1969. Flag unlegislated.
