A vassal of the Tokugawa family, he succeeded to the governorship after the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 and was given 45,000 goku of the Sanuki domain in Kamifusa Province. The war banner has white background with a black horizontal stripe in the middle. The general’s standard has dark blue background with two white washers of nail puller tied together in near square shape.
