Died: 1655
He served under Toyotomi Hideyoshi, participated in the attack on Takamatsu Castle in Bicchu Province, and was granted possession of half of Bicchu Province after the war. Later, parts of Bizen, Mimasaka, and Harima provinces were added to his domain. The war banner has blue background with white kanji 兒. The Ukita clan is said to have used this character 兒 because they were the Miyake clan based in 兒島 Kojima, Bizen Province.
