Okinawa city adopted its emblem and flag on 20 September 1974.
flag proportion: 7:10; colour of field: bluish purple.
A stylized hiragana O お. The diameter of emblem seems 7/10. No description in the law.

The emblem consists of a stylised hiragana o お forming three
connected circles, a sign of the citizens' harmony, aspirations and peace.
The law seems to say that the emblem /and character/ are white.
