The town emblem was adopted on Mar 13th 2006 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and a blue two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a combination of stylized hiragana み Mi and young leaves. The curved line symbolizes a new power, a spiritually rich life and the interchange. It represents a concord of the town people and the future of the growing town enveloped with an abundant nature.
