The city emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 2005 by Notice No 24 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a blue, a light blue and a yellow three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana た Ta of Taketa.
The lower circle depicts famous water and hot water which symbolize a concord of the area. Two lines symbolize a vigor to the future and a cooperation.
