The town emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1960 but there is no flag law.
The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized katakana ミ Mi of Mifune in a form of a boat. The circle symbolizes the development by the town people’s reconciliation and solidarity.
